WINSPORT CASINO - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (May 25)
Biathlon Alberta is seeking volunteers to work the upcoming WinSport Casino, July 19-20, at the Stampede Casino in Calgary. Proceeds of this casino will be allocated toward the development of biathlon! View the volunteer sign-up list here.

U of A AUGUSTANA SEEKING COACH (May 14)
The University of Alberta - Augustana Campus, in conjunction with the Camrose Ski Club, is seeking a coach for the Vikings Biathlon Team in addition to some club coaching with the CSC. More information here .
POSTAL PRECISION SHOOTING COMPETITION (May 11)
Biathlon Canada is pleased to announce the 2012 Postal Precision Shooting Competition. This competition provides an opportunity to compete against athletes from across the country while promoting the development of shooting skills. More info here .

SPORT SCHOOL PROGRAM PROPOSED FOR CANMORE (Apr. 26)
Canadian Rockies Public Schools is proposing the creation of a Sports School program, commencing September, 2012. The program is aimed at student athletes in Grades 9-11. An Information Session will be held at 7pm, Wednesday, May 2nd, at Canmore Collegiate High School. More information on the program may be found here.

BIATHLON CANADA - NCCP COMP DEV COURSE (Apr. 4)
Biathlon Canada will be hosting an NCCP Competition Development course in Canmore in June. This course replaces old NCCP Level 3. More information here .
