OPEN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS (Feb. 25)

Several Albertans, including Emma Lodge, Melanie Schultz, Rosanna Crawford, Tyson Smith, Nathan Smith, and Joel Pacas have been in action over the past week at the Open European Championships in Ridnaun, Italy.

Results have been excellent over the week, including:

Individual: Melanie - 16th, Rosanna - 24th, Emma* - 40th, Tyson - 19th, Joel - 56th

*competing as a Junior Women

Relay: Canada Men - 10th (Joel, Nathan, Tyson + P. Cote), Canada Women - 10th (Rosanna, Emma, Melanie + C. Godbout)

The event concludes this weekend with Sprint and Pursuit competitions.
