NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - September 11, 2010
The 2010 Biathlon Alberta Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday, September 11th, at the Canmore Nordic Centre day lodge. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm, and will be preceded by the annual Awards presentation.
The meeting will be run according to Biathlon Alberta’s new bylaws, which are available here. Please note, significant changes have been made to voting procedures. As we have adopted new bylaws, all Board positions are up for election:
President (2-year term)
Vice-President Technical (1-year term)
Vice-President Administration (2-year term)
Treasurer (1-year term)
Director, Athlete Development (2-year term)
Director, Coaching Development (1-year term)
Director, Officials’ Development (2-year term)
Director, Public Relations and Marketing (1-year term)
Director at Large (1-year term)

9:00am—4:00pm North American Summer Championships
4:30pm—5:30pm Biathlon Alberta Awards
5:30pm—6:30pm Biathlon Alberta AGM
6:30pm—8:00pm Biathlon Alberta open planning meeting*
*This meeting is open to any member, hor d’oeuvres will be served.
Important notes about membership ...
• All 2009/10 members are eligible to participate in the AGM; 2009/10 memberships will expire on September 13th, 2010.
• 2010/11 memberships are required, however, to compete in the North
American Summer Biathlon Championships, September 10-12 in Canmore.
• Memberships for the new season are now available here for Officials and Volunteers, and here for Athletes and Coaches.
