NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (August 21)

The 2010 Biathlon Alberta Annual General Meeting will take place Saturday, September 11th, at the Canmore Nordic Centre day lodge. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm, and will be preceded by the annual Awards presentation. Read more here.

"SHOOT TO WIN" #1 - RESULTS POSTED (August 17)

Results from ABC's "Shoot to Win" race #1, held in Camrose this past Sunday, are now available here.

"SHOOT TO WIN" SUMMER SERIES UNDERWAY (August 13)

The "Shoot to Win" Summer series gets underway this weekend in Camrose, with a running biathlon Sunday. This race will be followed by a roller-ski race Saturday, August 21st in Canmore. (Click here to register for the Canmore race.) The Series, promoted by ABC and Biathlon Alberta, features 5 events at 4 different venues, and includes running, mountain-bike, and roller-ski races. NCCP LEVEL 3 TECHNICAL COURSE (August 12)

Biathlon Canada will be hosting a Level 3 Technical Coaching Course in Canmore, September 17th through the 22nd. Click here for information - note early-bird pricing ends August 17th.

BIATHLON ALBERTA OFFERS SHOOTING CLINIC (August 12)

Biathlon Alberta is pleased to offer a Shooting Clinic in Canmore on Saturday, August 21st, led by Coach Alan Ball. The clinic will be held in the morning, followed by ABC's Shoot to Win race #2. Learn and refine shooting techniques, proper fit and care of equipment, and benefit from expert advice and experience at this clinic. Click here for details.

NCCP BEARS GOLD/SILVER COURSE (August 5)

An NCCP Community Coaching Bears Gold/Silver Course is coming up at Sovereign Lake, BC, September 24th through 26th.
