We've heard from our Camrose organizers - there is plenty of snow at the site, the trails there are in excellent shape, and the weather forecast looks terrific! Please note, registration closes Wednesday, January 6th at 16:00h (aka 4:00 pm). And don't forget your banquet ticket - great food is also in the forecast!

ALBERTA BIATHLON CLUB - KINDER CUP #3 (Jan. 5)

ABC will be hosting Kinder Cup #3 January 13th at COP in Calgary. This event is open to Air Rifle competitors aged 7 to 12, and novices. Click here for details.

CALL FOR OFFICIALS - ALBERTA WINTER GAMES (Dec. 29)

Never mind the Olympics! Biathlon Alberta is seeking officials to volunteer at the Alberta Winter Games, February 4 - 7 in Cold Lake. Food and accommodation are provided, transportation is compensated. Contact Andy Holmwood for more information.

ALBERTA SPORTS HALL OF FAME (Dec. 24)

It has come to our attention that Biathlon is not yet represented in the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame - this is something we would like to change! Biathlon Alberta is seeking nominations to the Hall of Fame - categories include Athlete, Builder, Pioneer, and others. ARCTIC GAMES SKI BIATHLON QUALIFIER (Dec. 21)

The Ski Biathlon qualifier for the Arctic Winter Games, originally scheduled for December 12-13, has been re-scheduled to January 9-10 in Camrose, as part of Calforex Cup #3.

2011 CANADA GAMES COACHING STAFF (Dec. 14)

Biathlon Alberta is seeking applications for Team Alberta Coach and Manager positions for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax. Those interested in a coaching role should be Level 2 certified, old NCCP. The application deadline is December 24 - click here for the form.
