By learning how to become a Biathlon Official, you can provide a positive experience for others and for yourself. The Entry Level program provides an introduction to biathlon officiating – no experience in the sport is necessary. More information here  .
ALBERTA GAMES - VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR REQ'D (Oct. 1)
Biathlon Alberta is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator for the 2014 Alberta Winter Games. The Volunteer Coordinator will act as liaison between Biathlon Alberta and the AWG Volunteer Recruitment Committee to ensure we have enough volunteers for the 3-day event in February, and that those volunteers are informed about their tasks and schedules.
The first volunteer coordinator meeting is Thursday, October 3 in Canmore at the AWG office (Old Library) at 7PM. If you would like to get involved with the 2014 AWG in this capacity, please email Andy Holmwood or Sherry Thompson.

The 2014 Alberta Winter Games, coming up February 6th to 9th in Canmore and Banff is holding a volunteer rally September 21st at Elevation Place. More info here.
